Admission to the Program
Admission to Credo/Prelude is made by “rolling admission,” with earlier applications having a greater likelihood of finding compatible chamber music partners and therefore being accepted into the program.
$400 deposit will be due within two weeks of notification of acceptance to Credo Prelude.
Returning Credo students:
Returning Credo alumni can secure a spot for summer 2010 by sending in an application and $100 deposit by Feb 1. An audition for ensemble placement will still be required, but the application fee will be waived. For applications received after February 1, normal application and audition procedures apply.
Calendar of deadlines for 2010:
February 1 – First admissions decisions made
February 20 – Additional admissions decisions made
March 13 - Complete file due for financial aid applicants
March 13 – Additional admissions decisions made
April 1 – Additional admissions decisions made
April 30 - Completed applications are due
May 3 - Final admissions decisions made
May 17– Final date for $400 total deposit due
Middle of
June: Student orientation packets mailed
August 1: Remaining balance due

Auditions
All students must audition for admission and placement. Applicants will be required to play two contrasting styles (melodic and technical) –
either contracting movements from the same piece or two separate pieces. Live auditions are preferred. Video-recorded auditions (DVD or VHS format) will
be accepted for students who live more than 100 miles from audition sites.
